SEM 2 - EXHIBITION PROJECT

This project is a response to the work of Patrick Pound, who collects and curates found objects to generate new meaning from their association. However, I particularly responded to the emotion generated in me by the collection of boats on the floor.

In this work I turned inwards and went through my own collection of past artworks, specifically photographs of drawings that have been sitting in my archive waiting to be organized. Together, I mean to generate a new emotional response by grouping these artworks in an exhibition-like arrangement. I also purposely left the border around some of these to create a unifying thread connecting them.
